Glenn Angelle- Sketches

Glenn’s Sketches

From the desk of Glenn E Angelle AIA NCARB

I enjoy sketching.  It was my first love and has always been with me.

My work as an architect keeps me very focused on producing designs and strategies for our clients that endeavor to make the most out of every challenge.  I am blessed to have found a vocation that allows me this privilege.

In my down time and in my personal travels, when the demands of the practice are somewhat subdued, my mind is free to explore my surrounding through my sketching.

A few of my sketches are shared here.

I try to improve and experiment on technic and style as I go, working to forget that not every detail of every space needs to be rendered.  My architectural training is helpful to my hobby but can, at times, hold me back from the free flow of artistic expression that is so exhilarating. As my old drawing professor Russ Dupuis was fond of saying to all of us, “don’t’ be so constipated”. I’ll keep trying.  I hope you enjoy.
